Learning a second language

The most important factor that affects proficiency in learning a second language is a age. Than earlier we start to learn than more quickly we can get proficiency in learning. If even kids are not motiveted to learn language they learn better than adults. Of course, there are others the very important factors such as motivation, aptitude, intelligence and so on, but the age is the most important one.

As I know that whatever language as a kid was taught a word at their first time, when they speaking the first choice is that language. Obviously, age is an important part of learning a second language.

Age is an importantant factor to effect language learning.I feel very lucky that I was born in China so that I don't have to study it as a second language.:)But I don't think that studying a second language at very young age is a good idea, because children begin to learn their mother language at that time. It's easy to make them confused with two language and its too hard to study two language at the same time for young children.
